Site Visit

We visited the Greenway to understand the site and how it’s used.

We walked the full 6.5km length of The Greenway to understand the space and how it is used. Along the way, we noticed places to sit and rest, where people stop and gather, entry and exit points and how the landscape changes along the route.

We also spoke with local people and worked with the Project Advisory Group to highlight places that feel important or meaningful. Looking at areas with connections to history, heritage, plant and wildlife, helped us to see what sites on the route would be best suited for the project.
